Ferran Torres admits he misses Barcelona. But what exactly does he miss?
Ferran Torres is settling into life at PSG, but there's one thing he wishes he could have brought with him from Barcelona.
Details: The Spanish forward, who swapped Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain this summer, appeared on the Spanish television show El Hormiguero, where he discussed his move to the French capital and the difficulties of leaving his former club behind. However, when asked about the challenges of relocating, Torres gave an unexpected and rather amusing answer.
The 26-year-old admitted that the past week had been particularly difficult because he was still in the middle of moving and had plenty of belongings to transport from Barcelona. But there was one thing he couldn't bring along: his former teammate and close friend Pedri.
Torres joked:
"The only thing I haven't been able to take with me is Pedri. He misses me a lot already."
The two Spanish internationals developed a close friendship during their time together at Barcelona. Despite now representing different clubs, they remain on good terms, and Torres' playful comments offered another glimpse into their relationship.
The forward also revealed that he has started taking French lessons as he adapts to his new surroundings. At PSG, he has reunited with fellow Spaniards Fabian Ruiz and Dro Fernandez, while working under head coach Luis Enrique.
It is worth noting that Torres has made an impressive start to his PSG career, scoring seven goals in his first six appearances for the Parisian club. His latest goal came against Marseille on September 20, when he found the net just seven minutes after coming off the bench.
