Fernando da Cruz defends Adolf Mtasingwa's slow adaptation to South African football

Fernando da Cruz has given his insight on why Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Adolf Mtasingwa has not hit the ground running at the club.

Chiefs dropped points against Polokwane City yesterday in a Betway Premiership match at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in a 1-1 draw.

"It’s related to his adaptation in South Africa because he arrived a little bit late during our preseason,” said da Cruz on the player.

“So he needs time to adapt to our game model. I trust in him a lot.

“After the FIFA break we will play a lot of games so we will need everyone and Adolf will get minutes.”
