Fernando Alonso attends private screening of “Formula 1” film in Monaco

Racing superstar Fernando Alonso was a special guest at a private screening of the “Formula 1” movie starring Brad Pitt. The Spanish driver attended the event in Monaco, where another Formula 1 Grand Prix is set to take place this weekend.

Alonso shared photos from the screening, which took place on May 21, on his Instagram page. The caption under the images reads: “Movie night in Monaco. 🍿 @fernandoalo_oficial, Lawrence & Raquel Stroll and Andy & Sarah Cowell attended the Private @f1movie screening this evening at the Grimaldi Forum.”

To recap, the “Formula 1” film features Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem in the lead roles and is directed by Joseph Kosinski. Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton also makes an appearance and contributed to the film’s production. The movie is set for release in the United States on June 27, 2025.

It’s worth noting that Fernando Alonso is currently driving for Aston Martin, but his season hasn’t been off to the best start. The Spaniard has yet to score a single point and currently sits 17th in the Formula 1 standings. His teammate, Lance Stroll, has had greater success so far this year—he’s collected 14 points and holds 10th place in the table.
