Fenerbahçe Football Club may boycott the Turkish Super Cup match against Galatasaray, as reported by Ajansspor.

The Turkish giant plans to field only nine players for the match, all of whom are from the U19 youth team. Additionally, it is planned that three players will leave the field under the pretext of injury or other reasons. Thus, only six players will remain on the field, which should lead to the match being prematurely interrupted and concluded according to the regulations.

The head coach of Fenerbahçe does not plan to attend the pre-match press conference, and his team will be credited with a technical defeat. The award ceremony will not take place at the stadium.

The reason for these possible actions is that the Turkish Football Federation did not postpone the match date, considering that on the 11th, the "Canaries" are playing away in the first leg of the Conference League quarter-final against Olympiacos.

As remind, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced its sanctions for the brawl following the Süper Lig match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe.
