Fenerbahce are currently battling for the Turkish Super Lig title and are strengthening their squad in order to challenge Galatasaray.
Details: Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has reported and given his trademark “here we go” on the move of PSV midfielder Joey Veerman to Fenerbahce. The Turkish giants are ready to activate the €20 million release clause. The player himself has already agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce and is prepared to complete the transfer.
We recently reported that a Turkish court sentenced 20 suspects to prison, including Galatasaray’s Metehan Baltacı, Fenerbahce’s Mert Hakan Yandaş, and former Adana Demirspor president Murat Sancak.
Reminder: Artem Dovbyk is enduring a difficult season at Roma, which could act as a catalyst for his departure from the club and a potential move to a Turkish giant.
