Federico Chiesa commented on his move to Liverpool


This summer transfer window, Federico Chiesa expressed his desire to leave Juventus and join another club. On Wednesday, August 28th, Fabrizio Romano announced his transfer to Liverpool.
The player has already commented on his move to the English team and expressed his gratitude to Juve.
"I am extremely happy and can’t wait to become a Liverpool player. My family and I are truly delighted. Let me extend my heartfelt thanks to Juventus and the fans; they have always been special to me.
Now, it’s time for Liverpool, and I am filled with joy. I can hardly wait," stated Federico Chiesa.
Liverpool will pay £10 million for Chiesa, who is set to sign a four-year contract with the club. The winger has already flown to Liverpool to undergo a medical examination.
During his four seasons with Juventus, Chiesa scored 32 goals and provided 23 assists in 131 matches. However, the new Juventus head coach, Thiago Motta, mentioned in a recent press conference that he does not see Chiesa as part of his future plans for the team.
