FECAFOOT Could Rekindle Warren Bondo’s Case Amid World Cup Push!

The Congolese Football Federation FECAFOOT may soon reopen the case of Warren Bondo with hopes of convincing the AC Milan midfielder to represent the DR Congo at the international level.

France or DR Congo?

Born in France, Bondo remains eligible to play for the Leopards under FIFA rules. However he recently expressed his ambition to join France’s U21 squad for the upcoming U21 Euro in Slovakia.

Despite his French aspirations, Bondo could reconsider especially with DR Congo leading their world cup qualifying group. The two time AFCON winners will host Senegal on Sep 8 in a crucial qualifier, presenting Bondo with huge chance to launch his senior international career.
