FCSB coach Lucian Filip reveals Siyabonga Ngezana is disappointed to be out of SA World Cup squad

Siyabonga Ngezana is gutted.

The former Kaizer Chiefs defender is disappointed at being left out of the Bafana Bafana World Cup squad to be co-hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico.

Although Hugo Broos officially names his squad next week, ordinarily, teams with players called up are aware of their players going to the global spectacle next month.

Ngezana's coach at Romanian side FCSB head, Lucian Filip, disclosed over the weekend that the defender is loss for words at missing out this opportunity.

“No, Siyabonga Ngezana was not called up to the World Cup. He is disappointed, but that’s life, football doesn’t end here,” Filip told the Antena Sport.

“He has to respect his club, because of the club he was in the national team’s attention. I hope he will be present at the next Championship.”
