The London club's head coach has openly called on sporting authorities to uphold justice in order to preserve spectators' trust.

Details: Oliver Glasner, head coach of London side Crystal Palace, expressed hope that the legal process surrounding Manchester City would be concluded as soon as possible, warning that viewers could lose interest. The coach shared his views in an interview with The Times.

The Austrian manager stressed that the fundamental value of any competition is impeccable sporting integrity. According to the coach, once fans begin to doubt the fairness of what is happening on the pitch and whether the rules are applied equally to all clubs, they will simply stop following the tournament.

Glasner urged disciplinary authorities not to delay the final decision, noting that the prolonged uncertainty is causing enormous reputational damage to the entire English championship.

“I hope a decision in the Manchester City case will be delivered in the near future.”

“The most important thing is the integrity of the league, because as soon as fans stop trusting it, they will stop watching it,” he said in an interview with The Times

It is worth noting that Oliver Glasner has been at the helm of Nottingham Forest since July this year, having previously led German side Eintracht to victory in the UEFA Europa League and earned a reputation as one of the most principled coaches in modern football.
