Fans Demand Salah's Extension After Humorous Video Imagines His Move to Saudi Arabia

Mohamed Salah's brilliant display in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Manchester City has put the club’s management in a difficult position, with fans chanting passionately for the Egyptian forward during the match.

With his 11th goal of the season, Salah helped his club win a crucial Premier League match at Anfield on Sunday, cutting the gap on top scorer Erling Haaland to just one goal.

However, Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the current season, and the club has yet to secure his future. Fans took to the stands with a banner reading, “He shoots arrows… now give Salah what he deserves,” demanding that the club extend his contract.

With Bleacher Report's official social media account sharing a humorous video depicting a cartoon version of Salah trying everything to land a new contract only to be turned down by Liverpool's management, the renewal story has garnered international media attention. The video humorously depicted Salah searching online for property prices in Saudi Arabia, suggesting a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.

Liverpool fans urged the team to accede to Salah's demands and ensure his future after the video went viral. Salah hinted at the uncertainty surrounding his contract deal when he told Sky Sports after the City game that he had enjoyed his final Anfield matchup with City.
