New Zealand's MMA fighter Israel Adesanya placed his bets on the boxing evening held overnight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Adesanya wagered $10,000 on Anthony Joshua securing a knockout victory over Otto Wallin at odds of 2.60, yielding the fighter a clean profit of $16,000.

Additionally, Adesanya predicted the upset by Joseph Parker against Deontay Wilder in the main event of the evening. Wagering $5,000 at odds of 5.20, he reaped a net profit of $21,000.

Adesanya's total earnings from these two bouts amounted to $37,000.

However, it's noteworthy that Adesanya faced a setback with another bet, losing $5,000. He took a chance on Junior Fa prevailing against Frank Sanchez at odds of 8.40, but Sanchez delivered a knockout in the seventh round.

All three of Israel Adesanya's wagers were placed through the bookmaker Stake.

Adesanya has been active professionally since 2011, renowned for his participation in tournaments of martial arts organizations such as UFC, Glory, Kunlun Fight, among others. He's a two-time former UFC middleweight champion and presently holds the top spot in the official UFC middleweight rankings and the ninth position among the best UFC fighters across weight categories.
