Fadlu Davids: I will look into bringing a South African player for Raja Casablanca in next month's transfer window to play in the Botola Pro League

Indications are that South Africa may have another player in Morocco’s Botola Pro League.

South African-born coach Fadlu Davids is in charge of North African giants, Raja Casablanca, and he indicated that he may bring a local born player to his side during next month’s transfer window.

Davids recently re-joined Raja from Simba for his second stint having been there before with former Orlando Pirates coach Joseph Zinbauer.

Presently, Thembinkosi Lorch is the only South African playing in the Botola League for Raja’s chief rivals Wydad Casablanca.

“The possibility of recruiting a player from South Africa for Raja in the upcoming winter transfer window is possible," Davids said, as per LeSiteInfo.

“But before signing the player, we must assess the South African player’s ability to adapt to the Moroccan league, to living in Morocco, and to the atmosphere here.

“No one can quickly adapt and integrate into the atmosphere in Morocco, due to several factors, perhaps the most prominent of which is the personality of the South African player.”
