Fabrizio Romano was wrong! No agreement reached yet on Real Madrid transfer!
The highly anticipated move of Yan Diomande to Real Madrid has been postponed once again.
Details: According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the latest round of negotiations between Real and RB Leipzig failed to produce a final agreement on the transfer of the Ivorian winger. All parties involved in the process have confirmed the absence of a breakthrough.
Unless there is a sudden breakthrough before midnight, the clubs will resume talks the following morning. Despite the latest delay, the deal remains on track, and the Madrid camp is still confident of wrapping up the transfer this week.
Diomande himself has been in Leipzig, training under a carefully managed workload. The German club are deliberately monitoring the intensity of his sessions to avoid any injury that could jeopardize this high-profile move.
Just a couple of days ago, Fabrizio Romano gave his signature “here we go” for Diomande's transfer to Real Madrid. As it turns out, things are not as straightforward as they seemed.
Reminder: Yan Diomande has resumed training with RB Leipzig whilst awaiting a final agreement on his transfer to Real Madrid.
