Fabregas turns down Bayer offer. He stays at Como

Como’s success this season has caught the eye of bigger clubs, all interested in their head coach Cesc Fabregas. Now, it’s clear where the Spaniard will be working next season.

Details: According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Como have managed to convince Fabregas to remain with the team for at least one more year.

Bayer Leverkusen showed particular interest in Fabregas as they search for a replacement for Xabi Alonso. But Fabregas has turned down their offer.

This season marks Fabregas’ debut campaign in Serie A. With two rounds remaining, Como sit in tenth place. Right now, Como are riding a six-match winning streak.
