F1 rising star Franco Colapinto reveals his preparation ahead of Alpine track debut

Formula 1 sensation Franco Colapinto has shared a behind-the-scenes look at his intense preparation for his highly anticipated debut with Alpine as a main driver. The Argentine ace posted several videos on his Instagram page, giving fans an exclusive glimpse into his routine.

The footage shows Colapinto fully suited up in his racing overalls and helmet, seated inside the cockpit and surrounded by his Alpine crew. The official Grand Prix weekend kicks off today, starting with the free practice sessions.

It’s worth noting that Formula 1’s official Instagram account also congratulated Franco on his imminent debut. They shared a video featuring the Argentine driver with the caption, “Franco is back in the paddock!”

As a reminder, Colapinto is set to make his F1 debut for Alpine this very weekend, stepping in for Australian Jack Doohan, who was dropped from the main lineup after failing to score any points in the opening rounds — a disappointment for the team management.

This weekend’s action will unfold at Imola with the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. Currently, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri leads the drivers’ standings, closely followed by his teammate Lando Norris. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, meanwhile, sits in third place.
