Formula 1 star Franco Colapinto is a huge fan of mate, the traditional Argentine tea. The racing ace showcased the contents of his kitchen cupboard in an Instagram story, revealing a stash of his beloved drink.
Colapinto posted a video in which he showed that his day always kicks off with a cup of mate. The Argentine demonstrated his special mate cup, known as a calabash, as well as his kitchen cabinet packed with boxes of tea supplied by his sponsor, YerbaMate Natura.
Franco captioned his video with, “It's Yerba Natura time for us. Thank you @yerbamate_natura, love you guys.” It seems he's a loyal, regular customer of the company, always stocking up on their products.
As a true Argentine, Colapinto is rarely seen without his calabash, and he's often spotted sipping mate throughout the day.
And this weekend, Franco will finally make his Formula 1 race debut as a full-time driver for Alpine. He’s set to hit the track at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, which gets underway in just a few days.
