Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has found happiness in a new relationship following his recent divorce and financial struggles, reports The Sun. According to the outlet, Brown has been in a secret relationship for the past year with a businesswoman named Amy.

Brown hinted at the romance himself by sharing a photo with Amy on Instagram, captioning it: “Happy birthday, babes.”

Amy is reportedly a successful entrepreneur working in the cosmetics industry.

“Wes and Amy have been together for over a year now and things are going really well between them. She is really successful and has her own thing going on. She is well liked in Cheshire and people think they are a great match,” a source told The Sun.

Brown split from his wife Leanne in 2022 after 20 years together, including 13 years of marriage. The former couple has three children. In 2023, Brown was declared bankrupt due to a series of failed real estate investments.

The ex-defender played for Manchester United from 1996 to 2011, winning two Champions League titles and five Premier League championships. He also earned 23 caps for the England national team.
