Fulfilling a dream: Gary Neville reveals David Beckham’s special 50th birthday gift

Manchester United legend Gary Neville recently celebrated his 50th birthday, and his friends surprised him with generous and unexpected gifts. Among them, his close friend David Beckham decided to help Neville fulfill a lifelong dream—getting his first-ever tattoo. Neville shared the story on the Stick to Football podcast.

Gary admitted that getting a tattoo had been on his bucket list, making Beckham’s gift even more meaningful, given their long-standing friendship since their playing days at United.

Neville has yet to decide on the design for his tattoo.

“I don’t know yet. I think Becks will sponsor it since he’s the tattoo expert. Maybe some lettering, or an image of a devil and a lion—something related to Manchester United and England,” he said on the podcast.

Neville's bucket list also includes a trip to The Ashes with his family, snowbiking in Canada, and participating in Hyrox—a competition combining strength training and running. Additionally, he plans to complete the North Coast 500 route in Scotland in a campervan, go on a safari, and attend Glastonbury and Oktoberfest in Munich.
