Former Italian national team defender Daniele Rugani has officially joined Ajax.
The 30-year-old Italian has moved to the Amsterdam club on loan from Juventus. The experienced defender will spend at least one season in Amsterdam, until the summer of 2025.
Interestingly, Rugani recently extended his contract with Juventus, with the new agreement running until the summer of 2026.
Rugani is a product of the Empoli youth system and joined Juventus in 2015. Last season, the experienced defender played 18 matches for the Bianconeri, scoring three goals.
During his career, Rugani has also made seven appearances for the Italian national team.
It was also reported earlier that Juventus is preparing for a significant shift regarding one of their midfielders.
