Last summer, Mohamed Salah was one of Al-Ittihad's top priorities during the transfer window. Liverpool was offered £150 million for the Egyptian forward, but the offer was rejected.

However, according to former Chelsea star Tony Cascarino, clubs from the Middle East will continue to make offers to Liverpool for Salah. His words were reported by talkSPORT:

"He's phenomenal, his goal-scoring record is incredible, and the fans adore him.

I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves this year, considering he has signed a two-year contract, with one more year to go. I can imagine him being the flagship of Saudi football, there's every chance it could happen."

Cascarino believes that Liverpool fans should not be dismayed, as the club will be able to find a replacement for him:

"But Liverpool fans should be assured they will be able to find a replacement for him.

I've been very impressed with how Harvey Elliott has played this year. He may not match Salah's level in terms of goals and numbers, but he has played very well when he's been on the field.

Their scouting network is exceptional, and I'm confident they'll find someone to replace Salah when he decides to leave."

In conclusion, he added:

"I've always said never keep players who think their future lies elsewhere. I'm not saying Salah is thinking that way yet, but if he does, Liverpool should thank him for everything he's done and move on."
