Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are battling it out in the Roland Garros final in Paris. After two sets, the Italian was on the verge of victory, but his opponent managed to mount a comeback.

In the third set, Alcaraz pulled off a 6-4 win thanks to three breaks, yet nearly collapsed in the following set. The Spaniard lost his serve to love in the seventh game, and just minutes later, with the score at 4-5, Sinner earned three championship points.

Serving to stay in the match, Alcaraz thrilled the local crowd by fending off all three match points, keeping this nail-biting clash alive. The Spaniard then dominated the tiebreak, pushing the championship to a decisive fifth set.

Notably, Jannik Sinner, the world No. 1, has never managed to win a match that lasted more than four hours in his career.
