The French Open WTA doubles tournament has come to a close, with the Italian duo emerging victorious.
Details: Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini faced the duo of Danilina (Kazakhstan) and Krunic (Serbia) in the tournament final.
The opening set was tightly contested, but in the tenth game, the Italians found the breakthrough, taking the set 6-4. Set two saw the international pair take control: 2-6, with Danilina and Krunic breezing through. But in the deciding set, the Italian tandem left no chance for their opponents, cruising to a dominant 6-1 win to secure the championship.
