Details: According to several French media outlets, Lyon could soon regain their spot in Ligue 1 thanks to a gesture from PSG. The Parisian management, having learned about Lyon's situation, decided to pay off the transfer fee for Bradley Barcola—who joined PSG two years ago—ahead of schedule.
Reports indicate that PSG were supposed to pay €45 million for the transfer in several installments, but now the Parisians have settled the full remaining balance at once. This move could play a pivotal role as Lyon seeks to prove their financial viability in court.
If the court accepts Lyon's arguments, the club will be able to remain in Ligue 1 and compete in European tournaments next season.
