Everton this season has been significantly affected by sanctions imposed on the club due to Financial Fair Play violations.

In total, Sean Dyche's team has had 8 points deducted. The latest breach of Financial Fair Play rules resulted in the team losing two points.

According to Sky Sports, the club disagrees with the latest penalty from the Premier League and has officially appealed against the deduction of two points.

Recall that earlier in the season, the Premier League deducted 10 points from Everton, but later reduced the punishment and returned 4 points to the club.

Additionally, there are reports that Everton faces the possibility of another points deduction in the upcoming season.

On Monday, April 15, Everton will play away against Chelsea. The Toffees currently occupy 16th place in the English Premier League table. Before the end of the season, Sean Dyche's team will also face Nottingham Forest, Liverpool, Brentford, Luton, Sheffield United, and Arsenal.
