Euromatch NPFL: Usman Abdallah Backs Ranchers Bees to Enjoy Successful Season Despite Niger Tornadoes Draw
Ranchers Bees head coach Usman Abdallah remains confident his team can still enjoy a successful season despite dropping two points in their goalless draw against Niger Tornadoes in their NPFL Matchday 8 clash on October 10, 2026.
Speaking after the match with the club media, Abdallah said the result was disappointing, as his side badly needed the win, but he was encouraged by his players' performance.
He noted that with only eight games played and 30 matches still to go, the team has plenty of time to recover and build on the display.
“It's unfortunate; we needed these three points very well, but when you look at the game, we lost it with our heads up. And if the boys keep on playing like this, then there is hope in the team. When you look at it, this is the 8th game; we still have thirty matches to go, and they have given this type of performance. Then, instead of getting angry for not having those three points, sometimes you should be compensated for the hope that you've seen in that team.”
Ranchers Bees coach Usman Abdallah also reaffirmed his faith in his squad, saying he believes they can build on their performances and enjoy a successful campaign.
“I believe in the team, I believe in the boys, and I think if they continue the way they are doing, we are going to come out successfully and we'll have a very good season.”
The result against Niger Tornadoes leaves Ranchers Bees with more work to do as they adjust to life in the Nigeria Premier Football League. Abdallah will now look to address the team's shortcomings and prepare his players for their next fixture.
