Euromatch NPFL: Kabiru Dogo Hails Niger Tornadoes’ Resilience After Draw Against Ranchers Bees
Niger Tornadoes head coach Kabiru Suleiman Dogo has praised his players for their fighting spirit after they secured a hard-earned 0-0 draw against Ranchers Bees in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Eight fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
Both teams struggled to find a breakthrough in a tightly contested encounter, with the tension rising late in the game. Ranchers Bees’ Habib Yakub and Niger Tornadoes’ Hanafi Akaje were sent off in quick succession during eight minutes of added time.
Despite missing the opportunity to claim all three points, Dogo expressed satisfaction with his players’ commitment and determination, highlighting the importance of squad depth in managing challenges throughout the season.
“He is a very strong player in our team, a super player. But we did not build the team around one player. We have a squad of 35 players, and we must be ready to cope with his absence,” Dogo told the club media team.
The draw gives Niger Tornadoes a valuable away point as they shift their focus to their next league assignment against Ikorodu City in Minna, where they will look to return to winning ways.
