Euromatch NPFL: Nasarawa United Coach Mbwas Mangut Confident Team Will Improve After Bendel Insurance Win

Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut is confident his side will continue to improve as the 2026/27 Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season progresses following their 1-0 victory over Bendel Insurance.

The Solid Miners secured their first win of the campaign at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday, bouncing back from their 3-1 defeat to Barau FC on Matchday One.

Speaking with the club media, Mangut admitted that Bendel Insurance made the game difficult but believes his players will get better with more matches under their belt.

“Yeah, it was a difficult game for us. It was our second game of the season, and I can boldly say we are improving game in, game out,” Mangut told the club’s media.

“We are, however, still very fresh, mixing experience with youthfulness, and I do know we will get better as we progress in this campaign.”

Nasarawa United will now turn their attention to their next NPFL fixture against defending champions Rangers International as they look to build on their first victory of the season.
