Euromatch NPFL: Nasarawa United Beat Bendel Insurance to Claim First Win of the Season

Nasarawa United bounced back from their opening-day defeat with a 1-0 victory over Bendel Insurance in their Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 2 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

The first half ended goalless, with both sides unable to break the deadlock despite their efforts.

Nasarawa United finally found the breakthrough in the 55th minute when Pam Samuel scored to give the home side the lead.

Bendel Insurance pushed for an equaliser, but Nasarawa United held on to secure all three points.

The victory marks a strong response from the Solid Miners following their 3-1 defeat to Barau FC on Matchday One and gives them their first win of the new NPFL season.
