The next CAF elections in March 2025 are set to be very exciting, especially in the UNIFFAC (Central Africa) region. Two famous Cameroonian football stars, Samuel Eto'o and Seidou Mbombo Njoya, will be competing against each other. Since both are running for the same position on the CAF executive committee, this contest has attracted a lot of interest.

Eto'o, who is now the head of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), and Njoya, who ran against him for the FECAFOOT presidency in 2021, are set to face off again. This time, they will compete for a position in African football leadership. Eto'o won their last national battle, but Njoya is ready to challenge him once more for a key role in African football.

This is the first time two people from the same country will compete for a spot on the CAF executive committee, making their rivalry even more important. Eto'o's campaign has drawn extra attention because of recent issues, including a $200,000 fine from CAF and a six-month ban from FIFA. Despite this, Eto'o is determined and says nothing will stop him from achieving his goals in African football.

The election is scheduled for March 12, 2025, and many are excited to see this historic competition between these two well-known figures from Cameroon.
