Etiosa Ighodaro on Orlando Pirates' radar

Orlando Pirates have entered the race to sign striker Etiosa Ighodaro.
Details: According to The South Africa, the Buccaneers are targeting the 23-year-old forward to bolster their attacking lineup.
There had previously been strong rumors linking Kaizer Chiefs with Ighodaro, but the Orlando Pirates management has now made it clear they are also eager to bring the young goal machine into their squad.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that South African clubs are not the only ones interested in Ighodaro. This adds an extra layer of intrigue to the transfer battle.
“There is interest from Russia and Morocco, and it’s getting harder to keep him. It’s believed that Sekhukhune United are preparing to sign him as a replacement for Andy Boyeli, who is wanted by Egyptian side Pyramids. So, as I said, let’s wait and see — there are too many factors at play. But interest in him is definitely rising,” the source added.
Last season, Ighodaro netted 6 goals in 26 appearances. Transfermarkt values him at €1.4 million. His contract with current club AmaZulu expires at the end of this month.
Reminder: South African giants in the race for AmaZulu's rising star.
