Estevão recounts his meeting with Thiago Silva before joining Chelsea

In the summer of 2025, Estevão finally completed his move from Palmeiras to Chelsea, and he has now revealed details of his encounter with Thiago Silva prior to the transfer.

Details: Estevão said they had a brief meeting and a short conversation about the move. For him, joining Chelsea was a dream, and he is delighted to be playing for the London club.

Quote: “We had a short chat — he approached me, spoke to me, and asked whether I’d like to sign for the club because the structure here is incredible.

I was really happy because Thiago Silva is a club idol, and it was an amazing opportunity.

For the rest of that year, I could already feel it coming. I watched lots of Chelsea matches to understand who I’d be working with here, and thank God everything is going well. I’m very happy with life right now — it’s incredible,” Estevão said.

Reminder: Enzo Fernández admitted it had been a month of complete chaos and madness. Everything was changing by the day, and right until the end it was unclear whether the transfer would happen.
