Estevão could miss the World Cup? Rosenior shares heartbreaking injury update on Brazilian star
Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has provided an update on the condition of one of the squad's brightest prospects – Estevão.
Details: The young Brazilian talent was forced to leave the pitch early, a major blow both for the player himself and the entire team.
"Estevão was simply devastated… he was crying at half time," Rosenior told reporters at the post-match press conference.
According to the club's medical staff, the player is suspected to have sustained yet another hamstring injury.
"It looks like another hamstring injury," the manager added with regret.
It should be noted that this season, the Brazilian has featured in 36 matches across all competitions for the London club, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.
Reminder: The referee ignored a foul on Palmer during the Chelsea vs Manchester United clash.
