The esteemed American sports portal ESPN has updated its pound-for-pound (P4P) ranking of the world's best boxers, regardless of weight class.
The first and second positions were shared by the former undisputed world champion in the light welterweight division, Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs), and the Japanese fighter Naoya Inoue, who secured the WBC and WBO titles in the second lightweight category in July.
The standing of the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO belts in the heavyweight division, Alexander Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), remained unchanged, securing the third position in the rankings.
The future opponent of Usyk and WBC belt holder, Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), rounded off the rankings, claiming the tenth spot.
