Esperance defender Mohamed Drager ahead of their semi-final clash against Mamelodi Sundowns: They are a monster of a club in Africa but we do not fear
Mohamed Dräger said Esperance respects Mamelodi Sundowns but don’t fear them.
The Esperance defender is in South Africa with his team to face Sundowns in the second leg of the Caf Champions League semi-final clash.
Sundowns are a goal ahead of their North African counterparts after Columbian forward Brayan Leone netted in Tunis’ Olympique Hammidi Agrebi Stadium last Sunday.
“I respect them in every position, on every corner. It's a big team, especially at home, like a big force. Very dynamic team, very tactically and technically prepared team by the coach and the whole staff. So yeah, I mean, it's a semifinal of the Champions League," said Dräger
“Everyone who's facing each other now is facing basically one of the monsters in Africa. So we face a monster of Africa, not the monster."
The sold out game at Loftus Versveld starts at 3pm.
