Arsenal's backup goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale, is on the verge of transferring to Southampton, prompting the Gunners to search for a new keeper.

Arsenal has set its sights on Espanyol's goalkeeper Joan Garcia. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the clubs have hit a snag.

Arsenal has offered €20 million, but the Catalan club is holding out for €30 million.

It’s reported that the 23-year-old goalkeeper has already agreed to personal terms with Arsenal. The negotiations between the clubs are still ongoing.

Joan Garcia has previously played for Spain’s U-21 national team. At the end of last season in the Segunda, he became Espanyol's first-choice goalkeeper, and he has played in all three La Liga matches this season.
