Espanyol have not received any official offers for García

The media is abuzz with reports of top clubs showing interest in Espanyol goalkeeper Joan García. However, for now, it seems that this interest remains just that—interest.

Details: Espanyol's sporting director Fran Garagarza stated that the club has not received any official offers for García, and that any potential suitor would have to activate his €25 million release clause.

Quote: "No official offer has come in from any club. I believe we have a top-level player, an Espanyol player, who is outstanding both personally and professionally. And we are calm.

Any club interested in Joan knows that this figure exists. We already proved this with another player last summer, when I arrived, and it should be no different now. He is worth it," Garagarza said.

Reminder: The latest club reportedly targeting García is Barcelona, who are undeterred by the fact that the goalkeeper plays for their arch-rivals.
