Haaland names a Liverpool player he thinks is terrific

Today, Manchester City will vie for the top spot in the Premier League, as a victory in today's match at Anfield for either team will give them the opportunity to climb to the summit.

Ahead of the Liverpool-Manchester City encounter, star striker for the Citizens, Erling Haaland, praised a player from the opposing team, Szoboszlai Dominik, whom the Reds acquired from RB Leipzig for €70 million. Currently, he has scored six goals and provided four assists in all competitions.

Haaland's words, as quoted by Manchester City's official website, are as follows:

"I believe that in the Premier League, it all comes down to being at the top, and then, over the last few months, becoming the best team. That's how you should do it.

This is going to be a truly monumental game, and in the coming months, we have a lot of good games ahead. That's why we play football, for these games. They also have excellent players. They've also brought in several new players.

[Dominik] Szoboszlai is fantastic. Liverpool has many great players, but it's good that we also have many good players. We need to be bold when we play football, and we must be prepared. We'll try to beat them."

Victory in today's match could be decisive in the championship race, and each team, pursuing its own goals, will fight for three points in today's fixture.
