Eric Dier set to leave Bayern Munich in the summer
Bayern Munich signed defender Eric Dier in the winter of 2024, but it appears his stay at the club will be short-lived.
Details: According to Bayern & Germany, the English defender is unlikely to remain at the club beyond the summer of 2025. Bayern have no plans to offer him a new contract, and will instead focus on signing a top-tier center-back. Jonathan Tah, currently at Bayer Leverkusen, remains a key priority for the Munich club.
Meanwhile, Alphonso Davies has committed to staying at Bayern and is set to sign a 4.5-year contract, which will keep him at the club until 2030.
Reminder: Bayern Munich’s press service recently announced a contract extension for 38-year-old Manuel Neuer until June 2026. The financial terms of Neuer’s new deal have not been disclosed.
