Enzo Maresca, who is set to become Manchester City's new head coach next season, is already making moves in the transfer market.

Details: According to The Touchline, the Italian manager is eager to bring in his former protégé, Enzo Fernandez, to strengthen Manchester’s midfield. The player is Maresca’s top priority, while Fernandez himself is ready for the move and is keen to play in the Champions League.

The chances of the transfer are further boosted by the ongoing conflict between the Chelsea board and the player, following Fernandez's public expression of his desire to join Real Madrid.

This season, Fernandez has featured in 53 matches for Chelsea across all competitions, netting 15 goals and providing 7 assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2032, and Transfermarkt currently values the midfielder at €90 million.
