In recent weeks, there has been a surge of speculation surrounding Enzo Maresca and his future, with questions now being raised about his role heading into next season.
Details: At the pre-match press conference, the Italian manager was asked whether he would continue at the helm of Chelsea. Maresca gave a clear and direct answer.
Quote: “Yes. I have a contract until 2029. This is pure speculation, 100 percent. There’s nothing more to add. I don’t pay attention to it,” Maresca stated.
Enzo Maresca took charge of Chelsea in July 2024 and since then has overseen 89 matches as head coach of the London club, recording 55 wins, 14 draws and 20 defeats.
Maresca’s major achievements with Chelsea so far include triumphs in the UEFA Europa Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
