Enrique expressed his thoughts on the crucial PSG match against Borussia
PSG's head coach, Luis Enrique, has shared his expectations for the match against Borussia Dortmund in the sixth round of the Champions League group stage.
It's worth noting that the Parisians have yet to secure their spot in the Champions League Round of 16 and are at risk of missing out on the playoffs. Enrique's team has accumulated seven points. Newcastle, currently in third place, has five points. Dortmund leads the group with 10 points.
"We want a win in Dortmund to finish top of the group. The big clubs always play big matches, and I am in constant communication with our president over our objectives. I like to focus on the positives and what I see is that in a difficult group we still have destiny in our hands. If we take things negatively we will have problems." - told Enrique for UEFA.com.
It has previously been revealed whether the Parisian club's management would dismiss the coach in the event of failure to reach the Champions League playoffs.
Defender Marquinhos from PSG has expressed his thoughts on the upcoming crucial match.
"If I thought this team didn't have the character to win, I would have stayed at home. Everyone is ready for a big match tomorrow. This is the type of match that everyone wants to play. Destiny is in our hands. We're going to try with the best of our personality. If we have to clear a ball, we will do it, but we must not take any silly risks." - told Marquinhos.
The match between Borussia Dortmund and PSG is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13th. Kickoff is at 9:00 PM Central European Time.
