English Premiership coach Scott Parker on Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster: We missed him when he was at the Africa Cup of Nations

Scott Parker has lauded the presence of Lyle Foster in the Burnley squad as the South African marksman scored against Tottenham Hotspur.

Parker, the Burnley manager, sounded a pleased man about the striker who scored in their 2-2 draw against Hotspur in a English Premiership match.

"I was pleased for Lyle," Parker said via the Burnley website. "He made a big difference when he came on and was in the right place at the right time to score a good goal."

The former Fulham midfielder expressed joy at his return from the Africa Cup of Nations as the player was in Morocco for the tournament with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

"We missed him when he was at AFCON. He’s a big threat. The subs made a really positive impact, which is hugely pleasing," concluded Parker.
