Football is respectful of every religion.

Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, the leadership of the English Premier League has decided to introduce additional short breaks during matches so that all Muslim players can observe their sacred prayer during Ramadan.

It is reported that these breaks will last just a couple of minutes and will take place during matches that mostly kick off at 4:30pm and 5:30pm.

This decision once again highlights that football does not tolerate hatred and always stands for unity and respect towards every country and faith.

The holy month of Ramadan will begin tomorrow, February 17, and will last until March 19. The rule allowing match stoppages will apply throughout this period. This regulation will cover all tournaments under the jurisdiction of the English Football Association.
