English grandees will fight for 20-year-old midfielder rejected by Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have shown no interest in Bayer Leverkusen, but other European top sides are keen to sign him.

According to HITC, Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in 20-year-old midfielder Florian Wirtz. Representatives of English clubs are in constant contact with the player's entourage.

Earlier it was reported about the interest of Bayern, but soon Munich refused Wirtz in the context of the depth of the team's squad, as well as his financial requirements.

Excluding wages, the move would cost any suitor for the player at least €130 million, and his annual salary is currently €7.5 million a year, doubling from next season.

Wirtz has made 27 appearances in 34 games for Bayer this season, with 10 goals and 17 assists. Transfermarkt values the 20-year-old midfielder at 100 million euros.
