England hosted Belgium at Wembley Stadium in a friendly match.

The English team faced significant personnel problems, as a whole host of players were unable to participate due to injuries.

Troubles for the Three Lions continued early in the match: in the 10th minute, John Stones left the field due to an injury.

Just a minute later, the visitors opened the scoring: Youri Tielemans found the net after a pass from Onana. However, the English quickly equalized. Ivan Toney converted a penalty to restore parity. For the Brentford forward, the goal was his debut for the England national team.

Fifteen minutes later, England scored again, but Jerrod Bowen's goal was overturned after a VAR review. Meanwhile, Belgium scored a legitimate goal to take the lead for the second time: Tielemans completed his brace, with an assist from Romelu Lukaku.

In the second half, the spectators at Wembley did not see any goals. That's how it ended: a minimal away win for the Belgian national team.

In the second half it seemed that everything was going to the Belgians' victory. But Jude Bellingham snatched a draw for the English team in extra time.
