Emery is preparing for another loss. Aston Villa may sell their forward

Aston Villa are actively spending the summer on the transfer market, preparing for Champions League appearances. But, apart from acquisitions, Unai Emery also has some losses, one of which could happen already this summer.

"Douglas Luiz has already left Villa Park and, according to HITC, striker John Duran, for whom Aston Villa are ready to listen to offers, could follow him out of the Birmingham team.

Emery does not see the 20-year-old Colombian in his long-term plans in the team, and has thus given him the go-ahead to look for a new club.

Chelsea are believed to have held talks over a deal for Duran, but an agreement could not be reached, and now other sides are believed to have entered the fray for the forward.

West Ham United are one of the sides who have been in talks with the 20-year-old, but the Hammers are not alone in their interest in the Colombian.
