The leaders of the Cameroonian professional league returned to winning ways this Sunday on matchday 23.
Unisport Bafang retains its position at the top of the Elite One table following its victory on 7 June. Away at Stade Renard, the visitors had a scare before turning the game around late on.
Stade Renard had taken the lead as early as the 6th minute. Houbed Ramadan opened the scoring for his side, 1-0. The home side managed to hold on to this lead for a long time before eventually succumbing.
Tompe equalised for Unisport Bafang in the 80th minute, 1-1, before Junior Tang secured victory for the visitors with his goal in the 84th minute, 2-1. A valuable win that allows Unisport to retain their position at the top of the Elite One table.
