Elite One: the fixtures for matchday 23
League leaders Unisport Bafang will be away from home as they look to get back on track against Stade Renard.
The Cameroonian professional league enters its matchday 23 this Sunday, 7 June. Six matches are scheduled for the opening day. Unisport Bafang, who lost to Colombe on matchday 22, will face Stade Renard on 7 June. The Bafang club, now just three points clear of their nearest rivals, Colombe, can afford no more slip-ups. They must win if they are to retain their place at the top of the table. A defeat, followed by a win for Colombe who face Canon Yaounde would prove costly for Unisport.
Dynamo Douala also poses a threat to Unisport and Colombe. The Douala-based club, which faces Coton Sport, is level on points with Colombe and three points behind the leaders. Should they secure a win followed by defeats for the two leaders, they will take the lead in the league.
