Another El Clásico. Barcelona announced the calendar of games in the off-season

Today, football fans are anticipating the final El Clásico of the current season. Real Madrid will host Barcelona at their home ground.

However, fans won't have to wait until the next football season to witness another showdown between the Spanish giants, as these teams will meet again during the summer break.

In preparation for the 2024/25 season, Barcelona will travel to the United States, where they will play three matches.

The Catalans' first encounter will be against the reigning treble winners from last season, Manchester City, in Orlando on July 30th. Then, on August 3rd, the Blaugrana will compete in the El Clásico in New Jersey, followed by a match against Milan in Baltimore three days later.

This will be Barcelona's first time playing in Florida and their first match against a team coached by Pep Guardiola on US soil. The last time they faced Manchester City was during a charity match at Camp Nou on August 24, 2022.

The match against Real Madrid has become a customary fixture during the summer break. It will be the fourth encounter between the Spanish giants in the US during the off-season. Barcelona has emerged victorious in the last three matches (3-2, 1-0, and 3-0). The match will take place at the MetLife Stadium, which will host the World Cup final in 2026, marking Barcelona's sixth match at this venue.

The Catalan club will conclude their tour with a match at yet another new stadium for them, the M&T Bank Stadium. Last year, Barcelona faced Milan at this venue and narrowly defeated the Rossoneri 1-0.

It's worth noting that all of Barcelona's matches in the US are aimed at promoting the development of football in major cities in North America. The Catalans are part of the Soccer Champions Tour, which brings together Barcelona, their three upcoming opponents, and Chelsea.
