No surprises occurred as Real Madrid defeated Mallorca in the second semifinal of the 2024/25 Spanish Super Cup.

In the first half, Mallorca managed to withstand Carlo Ancelotti's side, keeping a clean sheet. However, after the break, Real Madrid broke the deadlock. Following a prolonged attack with three shots on target, Jude Bellingham finally breached the opponent's defense.

Mallorca failed to create any significant chances against Thibaut Courtois' goal to level the score. In the closing stages, Martín Valjent scored an own goal, and in the fifth minute of added time, Real sealed a 3-0 victory.

This sets up an El Clásico final between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Yesterday, Hansi Flick's side defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0. The final will take place on Sunday, January 12.

Reminder: Real Madrid’s key midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni had to leave the match against Mallorca due to injury.
